Our deceased loved ones have never left. It's just as though they've stepped into the next room for a moment. There, in the afterlife, they're enjoying a life more wonderful and more real than this life, with youth, vitality, and no pain, sickness, or worry. There, they wait lovingly, knowing soon we'll step in to join them.

This Web site describes a method of grief therapy that goes far beyond traditional grief counseling. In it, people have their own reconnections with their deceased loved ones while still on the Earth plane.

Guided Afterlife Connections

We now know how to help people have their own afterlife connections with loved ones while they sit quietly, comfortably, and peacefully in an office, a church, or a living room. All the facilitator does is help the experiencer come to the frame of mind that will allow the afterlife connection to occur naturally. The facilitator doesn't act as a medium and doesn't make the afterlife connection happen.

In Guided Afterlife Connections sessions, people connect directly with their loved ones while sitting quietly with their eyes closed. No medium is involved. The facilitator helps the experiencer come gently into a state of openness to the connection using a psychotherapy method called “bilateral stimulation,” but the facilitator does not lead the experiencer in any way. The afterlife connections and communication with loved ones living on the next plane of life unfold naturally, on their own.

Description of the Guided Afterlife Connections

The afterlife connection occurs between the person and their loved one. They tell the facilitator about it as it's happening to them, but the facilitator has no influence over what happens. He or she just helps them enter a receptive state, and they close their eyes. When they open their eyes, they tell the facilitator what they just experienced. After renewing their receptive state, they go back to the afterlife connection by closing their eyes. When they open them again, they tell the facilitator more about the unfolding afterlife connection. They are having an ongoing experience that they just come out of long enough to describe what's going on and to renew their receptive state.

The life-changing connections greatly reduce grief and the impact of traumatic memories. Those who experience a connection receive assurance that their loved ones are alive and well, just not seen on the Earth plane, and that their love and relationships continue. They tell experiencers that they are still present in the lives of those still on the Earth plane, and that they have left behind old concerns, negative feelings, and all disabilities.

Their messages are filled with advice about how the experiencers can change their lives and handle life problems. They come to change lives, and the effects are profound. Experiencers often reorient their life goals after one session. They come into Guided Afterlife Connection sessions feeling grief and hopelessness and leave filled with joy and confidence.

Occurrences During the Guided Afterlife Connectionss

These are some of the words those in the afterlife have spoken directly to the experiencers:

What's hard for you to understand, Gary, is that there isn't a separation between life and death.

It s not your fault. Don t feel guilty. I m all right.

Love yourself with a vengeance. Do not live your life in fear. I will always be behind the light.

You don t have to worry anymore. There s peace, and you re still connected.

Have some fun and don t work so hard. I want to be part of your having fun.

It s all a game, a drama we play out, but in the end, its essence is love.

I am always with you. Believe! We are all with you.

She s saying I should let go of the past and move forward.

It is important that you love yourself. Take care of yourself so life can be as full as possible.

These are some of the experiencers' descriptions of what happened to them during the afterlife connection:
He kissed me! He hugged me! We were holding each other.

I see Kate. She's trying to touch me and she's smiling at me.

My uncle came to me and said 'I'm sorry.' He gave me a hug.

Guided Afterlife Connections Book

Guided Afterlife Connections: They Come to Change Lives describes the Guided Afterlife Connections procedure and presents 26 actual cases, with pictures of the loved ones now living on the next plane of life and descriptions of the effects the connections had on the experiencers.

The authors are Rochelle Wright M.S. LMHC CDP and R. Craig Hogan, Ph.D. Dr. Hogan is co-author with Allan Botkin, Psy.D. of the book, Induced After-Death Communication: A New Therapy for Grief and Trauma (Hampton Roads, 2005) that explains the grief therapy method Dr. Botkin discovered that enables anyone to have afterlife connection with a deceased loved one. Rochelle Wright was trained by Dr. Botkin, but took the procedure in new directions that are more powerful, meaningful, and effective. The new method is Guided Afterlife Connections.

From the book:

Our deceased loved ones are continuing their eternal lives still with us, unseen but present, as though standing quietly close by out of eyesight. They are a thought away, separated only by the limits of our understanding of how to connect with them. In that life intertwined with this life, they are happy, healthy, and active. They want to communicate and are available to do so, but we must make the connections in the mind, not through the mundane five senses we used to communicate with them when they were using bodies on the Earth plane. Our loved ones are accessible, and they earnestly want us to know they are with us. We just have to experience the connection with our minds.
I learned how we can help people enter the condition of mind in which they can connect with their loved ones living in that unseen, imminent realm. It is through Guided Afterlife Connections. The protocol opens up the portal to the afterlife (or the spiritual realm, whichever you prefer to call it). We who facilitate the connections help people now living in the afterlife to communicate with their loved ones still on the Earth plane. The result is changed lives. For them and for us, it is very exciting and very special.

You can purchase the book at the Greater Reality Publications bookstore.

How Do We Know These Are Real Connections to Loved Ones in the Afterlife?

The experiences happen in the experiencer's mind, but we know they are real connections with loved ones in the afterlife. These are the reasons there is no doubt about the source:

  1. The experiencers insist that they are real encounters with their deceased loved ones. They describe them as being as real as having a conversation at the breakfast table. When asked to compare them to dreams or imagination, the experiencers assert emphatically that the encounters had none of the characteristics of imagination or dreams; they were, to use the words we often hear, “as real as the conversation we’re having right now.”

  2. The experiences change lives. The messages are more than simply reassurances that the person living in the afterlife is alive and happy; they provide guidance to the experiencer about how to live a full, happy life and what specific actions they should take. The result in many cases is the experiencers’ almost instantaneous resolve to go forward in their lives with confidence and happiness, in new directions.

  3. The experiences reduce or resolve grief immediately, meaning they have an impact felt to be real by the experiencer at a deep psychological and emotional level.

  4. The contents of the afterlife connections are unexpected and unanticipated. They most often contain thoughts, perspectives, and images that had never occurred to them and that they would not have created from imagination. If thoughts are self-generated, they are not surprising. The experiencers having Guided Afterlife Connections are often surprised.

  5. Experiencers learn things they could not have known if they had not come from the person living on the next plane of life. In one of the accounts in the book, a woman saw a friend's deceased son in her Guided Afterlife Connection, stiking an unusual, silly pose with his arms dangling and one leg up. After the session, she said to her friend that she had seen the friend's son in a silly pose with his arms dangling and one leg up. Her friend was amazed. That was a pose her son had made when he was being comical that the family called his "monkey pose." The experiencer could not have known that.

  6. The information and perspectives learned often defy the experiencer’s deep-seated convictions. Guilt turns to acceptance. Anger turns to forgiveness. Grief turns into joy. Only an experience such as a profound epiphany, life event, or near-death experience parallels the remarkable change in beliefs, perspectives, and attitudes that results from the Guided Afterlife Connections. Imagination cannot precipitate such reorientations.

  7. Dreams or imagined scenarios reflect a person’s current beliefs, especially when they are deep-seated and have resisted change for years or decades. However, after a person experiences a Guided Afterlife Connection, their entire belief system about their loved one, the afterlife, and their own lives may be altered irrevocably. And that doesn’t just happen occasionally; it happens most of the time.

  8. Meditation and quiet introspective times rarely result in these types of connections or the life-changing messages they contain. No other waking state engenders such experiences so consistently, but the Guided Afterlife Connections result in their occurrence nearly 100 percent of the time.

  9. The changes are stable over time. Experiencers return months or a year or two later with the same conviction that they have had a connection with their loved one and the helpful reorientation of life goals. For some, bringing the changes to fruition proves challenging, but what happens to them during a Guided Afterlife Connection changes them permanently. The afterlife connections are not mental representations. They are connections between loved ones on either side of the veil.

In other words, we have every indication that the experiences are encounters with those now living in the afterlife and no indications that they are imagination.

"Something is different in me.
I'm alive again. I have a new
energy inside of me."

The settings have open group sessions to which anyone in grief is invited. People who have experienced Guided Afterlife Connections attend as wise souls whose experiences will inspire others. In the group sessions, those in grief hear people who have experienced Guided Afterlife Connections talk about the experiences and their feeling of love, comfort, loss of fear of death, and being forgiven or having forgiven. Their fervent conviction about the reality of the communication, their diminished grief, and enthusiastic joy from the experience inspire grieving people who attend the group sessions. The survivors learn how to establish new relationships with their deceased loved ones based on love, unbroken ties, and confidence in the future.

Eventually, a different view of life and existence begins to shape society and the world. A Renaissance begins.

”after Guided Afterlife Connection experiencers share their experiences in publications that people anywhere in the world can read. Documentaries describe what they have learned and how the experience has changed them. As thousands of people in a city have the experience and share their stories, lives and eventually normal social and business interactions are changed. As millions around the world have the experience, humankind is changed.
”after Executives from several large companies attend a retreat where they have Guided Afterlife Connection experiences. They talk openly about their experiences, then discuss about business, employees, customers, and families with their new understanding of themselves and others. They go back to their companies changed men and women, who run their companies differently.
”after Hardened criminals in prison have regular visits with a spiritual counselor who guides them into having the Guided Afterlife Connection experience with loved ones and even people they harmed or killed. The Guided Afterlife Connection specialist talks with them about what they have learned. The prisoners have group sessions in which they compare what has happened to them, their new view of life and humankind, and what they want to do to live their lives differently.
”after Gang leaders come together for a week-long retreat in which they meet with a counselor to experience Guided Afterlife Connections. They experience deceased gang members who have been killed in violence, talking about their lives and the lives of the gang member experiencing the Guided Afterlife Connection. They come together for group sessions in which they share what they're learning and how they might be able to make their lives and their neighborhoods different.
Picture that.

Impossible? Not at all. It will happen because of the remarkable insights that are coming from this new method of helping people have their own connections with their loved ones living in the afterlife, without a medium.
